ABOUT US
Son Mas Ametlles de Randa SL, Son Mas for short, is a passion project. On Mallorca, we have made it our mission to preserve and revive the traditional Mallorcan almond varieties. In the sun-drenched fields at the foot of the Randa Mountains, we carefully cultivate old, distinctive varieties such as Jordi, Guarim, and Duranet. Compared to today's common international varieties, these old Mallorcan varieties have a particularly intense aroma – thanks to the mineral-rich red soil. Their continued development is particularly important to us.
We also manage projects on the Spanish mainland in close collaboration with local growers. Here, we exert a targeted influence on cultivation and variety selection. Since 2024, we have also been expanding the production of dried figs and pistachio kernels – products with a long tradition and high sensory quality. Our product specifications ensure that all products comply with EU quality and food safety standards – thus laying the foundation for legally compliant, high-quality trade.
Thanks to Spain's geographical proximity to Africa, we have been active in West Africa for several years. We support local growers there in implementing our specifications, thus enabling compliance with European standards there as well.
